Adderley. This is not commuter countryside, a chocolate-box village of stone cottages and anally retentive hedgerows - empty by day, closed-curtained by night. This is a small, often scruffy, working segment of North Shropshire's agricultural heritage - dairy farming, in the main, where it survives; this is not just a village... this is a real, working, warts-and-all village.
Life here is slow. It could be some time before there's anything noteworthy to report.
